The Buddha said:  Don’t believe what I say; try it for yourself and see if it works. Tranquil Wisdom Insight Meditation (TWIM) works well for almost everyone that tries it.  I truly believe that Bhante Vimalaramsi's careful study of the suttas has brought us closer to what the Buddha actually taught than any other method that I have found.  More to the point, the practice of TWIM has truly changed my life. While it certainly requires effort, it is simpler and far more uplifting than any of the previous practices that I did.
I welcome you will join me in this wonderful practice and look forward to helping you successfully practice what the Buddha taught.
I started meditating 22 years ago, first in an eclectic tradition, and then in the Hindu tradition where I practiced many different styles of sitting meditation. I began studying Tibetan Buddhism in 2000 which was closer to what I was looking for, but still not quite right. In 2005, I started studying with a Zen master but again felt that, while I was getting closer, I had not yet found what I was looking for.

In 2007, I began practicing a Vipassana based daily-life practice and studying Theravada Buddhism. The practice brought significant changes in my life. I studied Buddhism for seven years and taught daily life practice and introductory Buddhism for three years.

In 2014, I realized that to go deeper I needed to renew my sitting practice. A friend introduced me to Bhante Vimalaraṁsi’s book, Meditation is Life, Life is Meditation. I immediately signed up for my first retreat with Bhante at the Dhamma Sukha Meditation Center.  Since that time, I have been attending retreats with Bhante twice a year and have been increasingly engaged in sutta study. This includes many hours of teacher training along side Bhante durning interviews with fellow students.

Bhante certified me as a meditation guide. Since then I have provided guidance to hundreds of participants world-wide in metta retreats through the Dhamma Sukkha Meditation Center online retreat program. I have a BSN (bachelors in nursing) and an MA in Sociology however, all but the Ph.D. dissertation was completed for the advanced degree
Online Retreats
My online retreats available through the Dhamma Sukha Retreat Center. The online program runs throughout the year. I am one of many teachers that help guide participants through the stages of meditation to the goal of nibanna.
