All of the prominent forms of Buddhism have inherited cultural modifications that diverge from the original meditation methods taught by the Buddha. It took many years of searching to find a meditation method that reflected what I read about in the origninal Pali texts. I struggled with overcoming obstacles in all of the meditation that I practiced for 37 years until I discovered Tranquil Wisdom Insight Meditation (TWIM). It revealed a system of practice that was unforced. I found relief that I had been seeking of my life.
Since 1969, Mr. Jordan practiced a variety of meditation systems with prominent Buddhist monks and lay teachers including yoga philosophy and Ayurvedic healing in India where he was certified a registered yoga teacher. In 2009 he discovered TWIM and began the study of Pali suttas and dedicated meditation practice. In 2018, he was certified as a TWIM meditation guide and teacher by Bhante Vimalaramsi at the Dhamma Sukha Meditation Center where he led online loving-kindness (metta) meditation courses. He currently offer classes and speaks about the TWIM by invitation.

Since 2019 Jordan has led online retreat sponsored by the Dhamma Sukha Meditation Center. His approach combines knowledge gained from the study of Pali texts and his personal experiences in meditation. He offers a six-week meditation course in Mill Valley California annually since 2011. The classes are structured for beginners but address the challenges of experienced meditators who are stalled in their progress. They provide equal parts theory, instruction, sitting practice sessions with Q&A throughout.
