"Thanks for having a good combination of Pali Cannon depth
and psychology-style pragmatism!" Jason, San Jose, CA
Since 2019 Jordan has led online retreat sponsored by the Dhamma Sukha Meditation Center. His approach combines knowledge gained from the study of Pali texts and his personal experiences in meditation. He offers a six-week meditation course in Mill Valley California annually since 2011.
The classes are structured for beginners but address the challenges of experienced meditators who are stalled in their progress. They provide equal parts theory, instruction, sitting practice sessions with Q&A throughout.
“It was great honor to ordain temporarily as a Sāmaṇera (novice monk) in 2019. Having had decades of meditation study and training, the brief induction into the Buddhist sangha was a memorable and a joyful milestone. My enduring gratitude goes to Venerable Bhante Vimalaramsi, Bhante Madawela Punnaji, Venerable Sayadaw U Silananda, Anagarika Shri Munindra, Dipa Ma Barua and esteemed lay teachers. Their adherence to the original teachings of the Buddha that made the ordaining in the US possible.
