"Thanks for having a good combination of Pali Cannon depth
and psychology-style pragmatism!" —Jason, San Jose, CA, 2023 Since 2019 Jordan has led online retreat sponsored by the Dhamma Sukha Meditation Center. His approach combines knowledge gained from the study of Pali texts and his personal experiences in meditation. He offers a six-week meditation course in Mill Valley California annually since 2011.
The classes are structured for beginners but address the challenges of experienced meditators who are stalled in their progress. Group classes provide equal parts theory, instruction, practice sessions with Q&A throughout. Having had decades of meditation study and training, the brief induction into the Buddhist sangha was joyful and memorable. My enduring gratitude goes to the late Venerable Bhante Vimalaramsi, Bhante Madawela Punnaji, Venerable Sayadaw U Silananda, Anagarika Shri Munindra, Dipa Ma Barua, and esteemed lay teachers. Their embodiment of the Buddha's teachings made possible my ordination. The Dhamma and its fruits have taken root in the West.
