Kirsten Jones
Kirsten Jones is the Retreat Coordinator and a resident teacher at Dhamma Sukha Meditation Center (DSMC). Deeply dedicated to TWIM, she has been immersed in the practice since her first retreat in 2015. Her extensive experience in TWIM qualifies her to teach advanced students, providing guidance tailored to their progress and depth in practice. Since 2020, Kirsten has coordinated and led numerous nine-day online retreats, contributing significantly to the center’s outreach and supporting students in advancing their meditation practices.

In late 2021, Kirsten spent three months as a Buddhist nun, further deepening her commitment to meditation. She actively studies the Buddhist suttas, integrating their wisdom into her teaching and personal practice.
Beyond her role at DSMC, Kirsten is a licensed clinical social worker in Missouri. She holds a BSW and MSW from Missouri State University (2006). Her background as a therapist gives her a unique, compassionate approach to teaching, enhancing the support she offers students on their spiritual journeys. She has a special focus on balancing TWIM and forgiveness meditation. This combination is helpful to many practitioners for awakening and experiencing the cessation of suffering.
